| The BMC1 size lure has been known to attract the strikes of many blue and black marlin down south in Cabo San Lucas and East Cape area. I have it from a very reliable source that this lure for whatever reason attracts the strikes from the larger blue marlin at the Cape and East Cape fishing destinations. After repeated requests to obtain this size (special request) lure I obtained some of them for this particular group of fishermen who frequent east cape resort areas. After many phone calls and emails from this particular fisherman I have learned that this Blue marlin lure trolled at the crest or center of the face of a boat wake has produced all the largest marlin for this particular professional angler. His largest blue marlin to date was a 708 pounder that died unfortunately prior to release. He informed me that he has lost many fish on this lure as do most Blue marlin fishermen who use lures and that for whatever reason this is the lure the big girls like best. I will be fishing the East Cape for Blue marlin end of this year 2003 and will get first hand experience with these lures myself. |
