Both the rainbow fish skin and the mackerel fish skin in silver hooks or gold with #30 pound main line and 20 pound drop 4 hooks in size 4 or 6. I have used many others but these always get the task of making bait for the day's fishing an easy task. Whether you are fishing with the lights at night or the kelp paddy's in the daytime these are a must have for the boat. I have used the 6 hook and more but found that it is not necessarily better to have more hooks on your rig. Too many times I have had more problems with more hooks on the rig than not. I have found that 4 is the most you should use for making the mackerel as they usually are quite fiesty when first caught and cause more trouble when you get more than 3 or 4 at a time. Fast to hook to the rod and easy to use these get the job done for me the fastest and easiest. The 5524 has rainbow fish skin and silver nickle colored hooks in both size 4 or 6 and the 5536 has the gold hook and mackerel fish skin in size 4 and 6 also. |
